Indie Collective Gallery encourages the public to engage with visual art and design by providing
a context for the enjoyment and wider understanding of contemporary practice.

Indie Collective Gallery  was established in 2007 as a  gallery dedicated to exhibiting emerging
and established arts practitioners.

The gallery plays an important role in the cultural life of Culver City as a place that promotes
sharing ideas and inspires creativity.

Indie Collective Gallery presents a rich and diverse program focusing on innovative exhibitions of art and social inquiry.
Design and architecture exhibitions aimed to raise public awareness and stimulate development are regularly staged.
The gallery supports local, national and international practitioners working in a variety of mediums including installation,
photography, digital media, sculpture, painting, ceramics and graphic design as well as conceptual contemporary fashion.

In January 2007 Gulbin Yavuz opened her own clothing store and art gallery named Indie Collective Gallery in the heart of Culver City's arts district.  The gallery serves as a showcase for established as well as emerging artists working in diverse mediums.  The ever-changing art exhibits along with Yavuz’s cutting edge, limited edition street couture and works by guest designers – clothing, jewelry and accessories - from all over the world, create a dynamic gallery environment at Indie Collective.  Gulbin Yavuz envisioned becoming such a collective from the beginning in 1999.  Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday noon - 6:00 p.m. and by appointment.
